New Look Website - Fun for the Entire Family!

(HONG KONG, August 12, 2005) - Hong Kong Disneyland has launched an exciting, new look website complete with a "Step into the Magic" Virtual Tour and the latest news and information from the Park and two Disney-themed hotels.

In the countdown to the park's grand opening on September 12, the new Hong Kong Disneyland website is easy-to-use and offers a vibrant and unique window into Disney's first theme park in China and two Disney-themed hotels, while providing the secure and convenient option of booking park tickets online.

Guests visiting the website can virtually explore the array of attractions, dining and shopping experiences in each of the four themed lands - Main Street U.S.A. Fantasyland, Tomorrowland and Adventureland - which spring to life on the screen in an array of stunning visual images and the latest photos accompanied by lively soundscapes to set the mood.

Here guests can navigate through the exotic jungles of Adventureland, whistle a toe-tapping tune in Main Street U.S.A, countdown to blastoff in Tomorrowland and revisit childhood fairytales and dreams in Fantasyland. There's also a chance to get to know the world's most beloved Disney friends by clicking on their images for pop-up fun facts.

For guests wishing to discover more about magical vacations at Hong Kong Disneyland, a simple click on "Hotels" will transport them to either the Victorian-style Hong Kong Disneyland Hotel or the Tinsel-town inspired Disney's Hollywood Hotel where information about guest rooms, dining venues, recreation and rates abound.

The Hong Kong Disneyland website also features practical information about guest services, transportation and general Frequently Asked Questions (FAQs) to assist guests with planning a magical visit to the park and resort.

From the grand opening day on September 12, a daily calendar will provide a complete program of opening hours, live shows, parades and fireworks. News announcements and park updates will be posted on the site at regular intervals.

The Hong Kong Disneyland website offers guests a chance to download a piece of the magic with two digital "SouvenEARS": the "addemupulator" - a Disney themed desktop calculator; and a "Print-o-matic" notepad which can be personalized. The ever-popular desktop calendar featuring collectible artists' impressions of Hong Kong Disneyland continues with a special, commemorative calendar in celebration of the grand opening on September 12 is planned.

About Hong Kong Disneyland
The Hong Kong Disneyland project was announced in 1999 as a venture between The Walt Disney Company and the Hong Kong SAR Government. With the completion of reclamation for Hong Kong Disneyland Phase I by the Hong Kong SAR Government, theme park and resort construction began in January 2003, with the project now scheduled to open on 12th September, 2005. At opening day, Hong Kong Disneyland will comprise a theme park and two Disney-themed hotels.

The Phase I build-out includes a projected 10 million annual visitor Disneyland-style theme park, 2,100 hotel rooms, and an area for retail, dining and entertainment. The project is estimated to create 18,000 new jobs at opening (both Disney and other employment) growing to 36,000 once the first park reaches build-out. The Hong Kong SAR Government estimated that the first phase of the project will generate a present economic value of HK$148 billion (US$19 billion) in benefits to Hong Kong over a 40-year period.
