(HONG KONG, September 3, 2007) - Stitch, the world's most mischievous blue alien, was on the loose at The Peak Tower today to help launch the all new Hong Kong Disneyland Ticketing Booth along with the innovative Stitch Interactive Game.

With Hong Kong Disneyland's recently launched ticketing initiatives, the interactive ticketing booth, exclusive to The Peak, will allow guests to conveniently purchase tickets to the Park. Located at the Atrium of the Peak Tower on Level P2, the booth marks the creation of an all new interactive sales channel for guests. While purchasing tickets, guests will gain further knowledge of the Park and all it has to offer, by trying out the groovy Stitch Interactive Game.

Stitch surprised Josh D' Amaro, Vice President of Sales and Travel Trade Marketing, Hong Kong Disneyland and visitors with his mischievous antics at the HKDL Ticketing Booth at the Peak Tower.

"The new ticketing booth provides our guests with one more convenient way to discover the incredible line up of upcoming special events and celebrations. With the soon to begin Haunted Halloween from September 25 until October 31, as well as the Christmas and Chinese New Year celebrations coming up, Hong Kong Disneyland provides new reasons to visit all year round!"

Operating from September 3 until November 21, 2007, regular day, peak day, special day, Halloween evening tickets1 and all Annual Passes including the newly launched Student Annual Pass will be available for sale at the ticketing booth.

For each purchase of a Park ticket at the HKDL Ticketing Booth at the Peak Tower, guests will receive three limited time F&B coupons for a 20% discount at the Plaza Inn, Market House Bakery and Royal Banquet Hall (a same day receipt must be presented from one of the Peak Tower's merchants, exclusive of the Peak Tram and/or Madame Tussauds Hong Kong's receipt). While purchasing tickets, guests can experience the new groovy Stitch Interactive Game with their family and friends.

This is the first time that Disney's motion capture technology has been showcased, which is a testament to Disney's commitment of creating the newest and most exciting entertainment for guests all over the world.

Like many other attractions in the Park, the Stitch Interactive Game is never the same twice. With Stitch zooming through Victoria Harbor and the different themed lands at Hong Kong Disneyland, the motion capture technology records participants' movement, which Stitch mirrors on the screen. Played as a group or individually, participants shuffle left or right to help Stitch avoid obstacles as he skateboards to his home in Hong Kong Disneyland's Tomorrowland at the "Stitch Encounter" attraction. The Stitch Interactive Game will be open to the public from 11am until 8pm daily and is free of charge.

With the addition of the HKDL Ticketing Booth at the Peak Tower, there are now a total of six channels for purchasing tickets:

  • Ticket booths at Hong Kong Disneyland Main Entrance
  • Front desks of both the Hong Kong Disneyland Hotel and Disney's Hollywood Hotel
  • Hong Kong Disneyland Ticket Express at the MTR's Hong Kong Station (Tung Chung Concourse)
  • Online at our website
  • By calling the Disney Reservation Center at (852) 1-830-830
