Time For High School Musical: LIVE!
at Hong Kong Disneyland!
Guests Get in the Game with Wildcat Fever
(HONG KONG, March 6, 2008) - The Disney Channel Original Movie smash hits, High School Musical 1 and 2, came to life today at Hong Kong Disneyland as the Resort launched High School Musical: LIVE!, an ultra high energy interactive street party that invites young Guests to dance and sing like never before.
Over 100 teenage fans gathered to welcome High School Musical: LIVE!, as the upbeat show made its debut in front of Sleeping Beauty Castle. Grooving along with the 'East High kids', these super fans showed the crowd how to get into the Wildcat spirit.
As part of the five all-new attractions and entertainment offerings for 2008, this highly immersive musical-style show is an exciting cross between the movies and creativity. Featuring everyone's favorite tunes from both High School Musical 1 and 2, these 'East High kids' will be decked out in fabulous high school clothing, or as Wildcat basketball players, baseball players and cheerleaders. These fabulous dancers are sure to bring guests into the Wildcat excitement!

Performed three times a day, High School Musical: LIVE! features a richly decorated traveling stage with the iconic High School Musical marquee logo, as well as a bevy of hip East High performers. Throughout the show, an emcee and two lead singers will rally the crowd, encouraging Guests to join the fun and even shoot some hoops, as the entourage stops in front of Sleeping Beauty Castle. The show is also filled with meaningful messages - universal lessons about courage, team spirit, respect and following one's dream.
High School Musical: LIVE! is part of Disney's commitment to providing totally immersive and interactive entertainment offerings and attractions. Hong Kong Disneyland recently launched the Muppet Mobile Lab which is one of its newest interactive entertainment offerings. Featuring the quirky Dr. Bunsen Honeydew and his sidekick, Beaker, this spontaneous pair will create an unending amount of entertainment for Guests. In addition, Finding Nemo Turtle Talk With Crush featuring a face-to-face encounter with the 152-year-old turtle Crush, the beloved sea turtle from the popular Pixar animated film "Finding Nemo", will be launched soon, so stay tuned!
