The Haunted Halloween Invades Hong Kong Disneyland
Daring Brave Revelers to Explore

(HONG KONG, September 25, 2008) - The Dark force is stirring in anticipation, ready to invade Hong Kong Disneyland, as the Resort prepares to launch the intensified Haunted Halloween beginning tomorrow.

Running from September 26 until November 1, 2008, the Haunted Halloween at Hong Kong Disneyland has expanded, creating a new territory of Darkness in Adventureland. For 37 non-stop heart pounding days, Guests will be able to dare themselves to explore the frightful fun throughout the Park...

"The Haunted Halloween at Hong Kong Disneyland has returned this year more intense than ever and is set to bring powerful, scary experiences to life like never before," said Maple Lee, Vice President, Marketing of Hong Kong Disneyland. "Through the combination of all-new storylines, theatrical settings and technology, Guests will embark on a variety of thrill-filled encounters as they explore the Demon Jungle or check into the Main Street Haunted Hotel. To further entice and appeal to young adult Guests, the Resort has created an all-encompassing marketing campaign across the territory.

"Set to give everyone in Hong Kong a taste of the Dark force this Halloween season, the Resort's promotional campaign utilizes a variety of innovative tactics that spans across numerous multi-media platforms. These imaginative methods have and will include online and mobile viral marketing, an online sizzle video, a dedicated website, a television commercial and even roadshows on university campuses. What's more, for the first time ever, Hong Kong Disneyland will be cooperating with Harbour City to create a Demon Jungle themed interactive photo booth at the Ocean Terminal Forecourt, Harbour City."

Designed with young adults in mind, Hong Kong Disneyland is offering an evening ticket during the Haunted Halloween. Available on Friday and Saturday evenings, these tickets are valid for entry after 6:30pm, until 11:00pm. Guests will be able to enjoy the Resort's Halloween frightful horror at its peak, with tickets priced at HK$198 for all age categories.

One of the key attractions of the Haunted Halloween, the Demon Jungle will make its debut in Adventureland this year. Featuring a specially created storyline, elaborate sets and scenes, Guests will find themselves lost on this frightful journey through an outpost built on a burial ground. Along with creative technology, brave adventurers should expect to experience some hair-raising illusions while finding their way out. Closely connected to it is the Adventureland Haunted Trail. A seemingly innocent Halloween-themed photo hot spot by day, the Adventureland Haunted Trail will go through a complete transformation on Friday and Saturday evenings. A mist shrouded gauntlet filled with menacing and outlandish Pirates, Zombies, grinning Pumpkin Men, as well as the mysterious Gatekeepers, this Halloween offering will have Guests jumping at every shadow.

Escaping the horrors of Adventureland, mysterious occurrences will be apparent everywhere in the Park. The Main Street Haunted Hotel on Main Street U.S.A. will once again reopen; the scary Victoria Maxwell has filled her hotel with all-new traps to capture new and returning victims. Along with hoards of undead hotel occupants, Guests should expect spine tingling scares everywhere they look. Right outside the Main Street Haunted Hotel, the Resort's exclusive Glow in the Park Halloween Parade will feature even more spooky UV effects this year; along with the new Ghostly Pirate Ship as the rousing finale, this morbid but whimsical entertainment offering will be filled with engaging and eye-opening experiences. This ultimate Halloween festivity is a must-go to "glow" along with the Pumpkin King Jack Skellington, Dr. Finklestein and Sally from The Nightmare Before Christmas, Disney Villains, Zombies, acrobatic Red Devils and many more¡K

Guests will find more traces of darkness in Tomorrowland, as Space Mountain transforms into Space Mountain - Ghost Galaxy. It will be easy for Guests to get lost in the terror of the frightening soundtrack and the hair-raising visual effects - scary apparitions and ghoulish monstrosities will wait at every treacherous bend. The candid photo moment at the end of this supersonic ride will feature an all-new spirit filled border.

Apart from the spooky Park decorations, specially created food and beverage items with innovative and scary designs will also be introduced. Guest will be amazed by the wide selection of over 160 Halloween-themed merchandise items, with three main lines to choose from: 'Nightmare Before Christmas', 'Halloween Mickey Family' and 'Halloween Pooh Family'. Available beginning October 20, 2008, 300 Jack with Different Expressions Halloween Limited Edition Pin Box sets priced at HK$350, will woo the Pumpkin King's fans.

Evening tickets can be purchased at the ticket booths at the Main Gate of the Hong Kong Disneyland park, at the front desks of the two Disney themed hotels, through the Resort's website, at the Hong Kong Disneyland Ticket Express at MTR Hong Kong Station, at select Circle K outlets, at select travel agents, as well as at the Hong Kong Disneyland Ticketing Booth at the Peak Tower, from now until November 1.
