Working at Hong Kong Disneyland is not just a job; it can lead to an exciting career. We strive to develop and train our Cast Members so they can excel and grow personally and professionally. Focusing on Career Development allows us to attract and retain great Cast Members as we expand our Resort.
In general, all Cast Members are taught the company history, Disney Service principles, Hong Kong Disneyland's operation, and the Disney culture. This knowledge gives our Cast a solid foundation as they begin their training and it gives them a better perspective of their role.
Most On Stage Cast Members start their Hong Kong Disneyland career as a Host or Hostess. They are trained and developed by the company on how to deliver excellent Guest Service to all the many diverse Guests who come to our Resort. Cast Members also regularly attend workshops to improve their skills and knowledge, preparing them for career development.
Leads provide coaching to other Hosts and Hostesses to meet the Disney Quality Standards. Cast Members who become Leads are expected to expand their knowledge and abilities. Leads leverage what they already know about their operation and then add to that by developing their peer coaching and feedback skills. Lead-level Cast Members are also provided with Leadership training.
A Guest Services Manager supervises, develops, and tracks the performance of a team of Cast Members, including Leads, Hosts, and Hostesses. Training and development is offered to widen the scope and supervisory capabilities of our Guest Services Managers, helping them to perform more effectively and to realize their potential.
Our passion for Career Development mutually benefits our Cast Members, our Guests, and our Resort.
