Steps:
Open to all eligible students.
Teachers are advised to ask each student to make three pledges to help the environment after discussing the importance of the environment and responsibility for maintaining its healthy balance in class.
Environmentality Pledge and souvenirs will be available for collection in November 2007.



Steps:
Open to all eligible students.
Divide into three categories namely Lower Primary (Primary 1 to 3), Upper Primary (Primary 4 to 6) and Lower Secondary (Form 1 to 3).
All projects should be developed from at least one of the four focuses of the theme.
Develop an action plan.
Carry out the action plan.
Evaluate the project and record results.
Assemble Class Project Portfolio.
Complete "Class Project Cover Sheet" and "Student Self-assessment Journal".
Class Project Portfolio, including "Class Project Cover Sheet" and samples of "Student Self-Assessment Journal", have to be submitted by or before 29 February 2008.

Application Procedures
  • All schools will receive an information folder which includes poster and entry forms.
  • Participating schools have to complete the entry forms and send them back to Environmental Protection Department by or before 6 November 2007 by fax or by post.

    Class Project Submission
    Class Project Portfolios have to be submitted to Environmental Protection Department before the deadlines.
