Charitable activities have been an integral part of The Walt Disney Company's heritage. At the heart of these endeavours has been the welfare of children. Now, Hong Kong Disneyland is proud to continue this tradition with the launch of the Disney Children's Fund.
Administered by Hong Kong Disneyland with funding from The Walt Disney Company, the Disney Children's Fund was established to encourage new and creative ideas for children's welfare programs to address the emerging needs of children in the community.
Starting in 2008, a total of HK$1 million in annual grants will be awarded to Hong Kong charities. The funding program will sponsor projects that focus on children aged 18 or below. Eligible projects should help kids learn, develop their characters or bond with their parents.
