Hong Kong Disneyland promotes the importance of environmental awareness and conservation among students through educational events and school programs. Disney VoluntEARS participate in a lot of green activities such as tree-planting, Mikania removal and tree appreciation tours. A brand new program, namely "Nature Walk at Hong Kong Disneyland", was launched in 2007 together with a tree trail guidebook in which three tree trails surrounding the Park were introduced.
