Founded in 1983 by a desire to provide meaningful service to the community, Disney VoluntEARS bring the magic of Disney to those in need. Hong Kong Disney aims to create opportunities for its Cast Members to contribute and make a positive impact to the local children, families and people in need, while furthering the traditions and ideals of the Walt Disney Company.

To encourage Cast Members reaching out to the community, Hong Kong Disneyland introduced a grant program named EARS TO YOU, a worldwide initiative of Disney. To qualify, Cast Members have to contribute a minimum of 10 hours of service to worth causes that organized by Disney VoluntEARS, charities or non-profit orgnisations each year. We will match their volunteer hours with a grant of up to US$1,000 which is payable to a charity or non-profit organization of their choice.
