Terms and Conditions

"Hong Kong Disneyland Presents: A Magical Nighttime Symphony" Giveaways ("Lucky Draw") will be promoted from November 9, 2021 – November 15, 2021 ("Promotion Period") on the webpage. https://www.hongkongdisneyland.com/campaigns/castle-performance-giveaways/ ("Website").
Hongkong International Theme Parks Limited ("HKITP") (Address: Hong Kong Disneyland Resort, Lantau Island, Hong Kong) is the organizer of the Lucky Draw.
To participate in the Lucky Draw, each participant ("Participant") must be a Hong Kong resident holding either:
1. a valid Hong Kong Identity Card; or
2. for each Participant aged under 11, a valid Hong Kong birth certificate and a recent school handbook issued by a school located in Hong Kong or other legal documents with photo identification.
To participate in the Lucky Draw, each Participant must submit the required information, complete the registration process, and agree to the wording as set out under “Receiving Hong Kong Disneyland latest news, promotions and offers” via the Website within the Promotion Period ("Registration").
One Lucky Draw reference number will be assigned for each Registration. If repeated Registrations’ information is submitted, only the last Registration will be qualified and accepted.
Registration for Participants aged below 18 must be made for and on the Participant's behalf by his/her parent or legal guardian. A true and accurate e-mail address of such Participant's parents or legal guardian (as the case may be) must be submitted. An e-mail will be sent to such e-mail address confirming the parent's or legal guardian's permission for the relevant Registration. HKITP reserves the right to disqualify any Participant from the Lucky Draw if objection from his/her parent or legal guardian is received.
Each Participant can win one prize only. Each Participant with a successful Registration has a chance to win a date stamped one-day admission ticket (“Ticket”) to the Hong Kong Disneyland Park ("Park"), valid for admission on the designated date as shown on the Ticket ("Ticket Prize" or “Prize”). Prize is not guaranteed.
The winning Participants will be announced on November 19, 2021 on the Website ("Announcement"). An advertisement will be placed in The Standard and Sing Tao Daily on the same day with the event name and Website to remind Participants to view the Announcement.
A winning notice ("Winning Notice") with an e-voucher for redeeming the Ticket Prize will be sent to each winning Participant by email provided by the Participant in the Registration after the Announcement has been made. Use of Lucky Draw prizes shall be subject to the additional terms and conditions set out in the Winning Notice and the Ticket Prize. No notice will be given to other Participants.
Each Participant winning a Ticket Prize can present the e-voucher enclosed in the Winning Notice in person to redeem the Ticket at a Ticket Booth at the Main Entrance of the Park on the date specified in the Winning Notice. To redeem the Ticket Prize, each winning Participant must present his/her Lucky Draw Winning Notice and his/her identification document (described in paragraph 3 above) and such other information as HKITP may require for verification purposes.
Each winning Participant under age 16 must be accompanied by a guest aged 16 or older holding a valid Park ticket to enter the Park.
Ticket Prize winning Participants are required to reserve their visit date within 14 days prior to their intended visit to the Park at https://www.hongkongdisneyland.com/park-visit-reservation/.
Lucky Draw prizes not claimed within the validity period specified in the Winning Notice, not used on the date of redemption, or not used in accordance with these Terms and Conditions may be forfeited without notice or compensation.
HKITP reserves the right to disqualify any Participant found or suspected of taking part in the Lucky Draw using a false identity or attempting to use any program to influence the Lucky Draw process or results. HKITP also reserves the right to recover damages or other compensation from such person.
All expenses not specifically provided for herein including but not limited to transportation costs in connection with the collection and use of the Lucky Draw prizes are each winning Participant's sole responsibility. All taxes (including, without limitation, withholding taxes, income taxes, VAT, GST and import duties and fees, as applicable) on or connected with the Ticket Prize, and the reporting consequences thereof are the sole and exclusive responsibility of each winning Participant.
Each Lucky Draw prize is non-transferable, not for sale and cannot be substituted (in whole or in part) or redeemed for cash or any other items.
Issue of the Lucky Draw prizes and admission to the Park are subject to these Terms and Conditions, and the Rules and Regulations of the Park, which are set out on the website at www.hongkongdisneyland.com. HKITP may from time to time, without prior notice and without refund or compensation, change or adjust the mode of operation, including but not limited to operating hours of the Park, or any attraction, shop, restaurant, facility or amenity, close or adjust the operation for any period of the Park, or any part of it, restrict the number of persons having access to the Park or any part of it, impose purchase limit on selected merchandise items, and/or suspend or cancel any attraction, facility, amenity or entertainment or marketing program, offering or activity, and to make and alter rules to be followed within the whole or any part of the Park, due to capacity, inclement weather, special events, to ensure safety, security or order, or compliance with law, or if HKITP considers that the circumstances so require. HKITP reserves the right to deny admission, or to require a person already admitted to leave the Park, without refund or compensation, for failure to comply with any of these rules, for unsafe, illegal or offensive behaviors, to ensure safety, security or order, or if we consider that the circumstances so require.
Neither HKITP nor any of its Affiliates shall be liable to any person for any loss or damage (whether caused by the negligence of HKITP or any Affiliate or otherwise and whether directly or indirectly) from or in connection with the Lucky Draw or any Lucky Draw prize including, but not limited to, loss of income, profits or goodwill, any loss or damage arising from any failure to receive or process any entry; any error in computing any chance; any computer, telecommunications or equipment failure or malfunction; any deficiency or inadequacy of service rendered by any third party; or any notice which is misdirected or lost in the postal system even if HKITP or any Affiliate has been advised of the possibility of such loss or damage. In these Terms and Conditions, "Affiliates" means Hong Kong Disneyland Management Limited, The Walt Disney Company, any of their respective direct or indirect subsidiary, parent or holding company, and any direct or indirect subsidiary of such holding company located in Hong Kong or elsewhere and any of them.
Neither HKITP nor any Affiliate shall be responsible for any failure to notify any winner, whether such failure is caused by HKITP's or any Affiliate's negligence or otherwise or by any human error.
HKITP reserves the rights to exclude any person in any of the following categories to participate in the Lucky Draw or to be awarded any prize: (a) persons who are the directors, officers or employees of HKITP or any Affiliate, persons who are engaged in the administration, development, production or distribution of the Lucky Draw, and persons who are directors, officers or employees of any advertising or Lucky Draw agency associated with the Lucky Draw; (b) persons who were or are on-site directors, officers or employees of any third party operator at the Hong Kong Disneyland Resort; and (c) persons who are family members of any person in any of the preceding categories, regardless of where they live, or who reside in the same household, whether an immediate family member or not, as any person in any of the preceding categories.
By participating in this Lucky Draw, Participants represent they have read and agree to the Terms of Use and Privacy Policy, which supplement and are in addition to these Terms and Conditions.
The Lucky Draw is offered in accordance with the laws of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region of the People's Republic of China ("HKSAR") only. Neither HKITP nor any Affiliate makes any representation that participation in the Lucky Draw is appropriate or available in other locations and the Lucky Draw is void in any jurisdiction where participation in such a Lucky Draw is prohibited or restricted by law. Those who choose to participate in the Lucky Draw do so on their own initiative and are responsible for compliance with local laws, if and to the extent they are applicable.
These Terms and Conditions are subject to the interpretation of HKITP which shall be final and conclusive. In the event of disputes, HKITP reserves the right to make final judgment on the dispute and otherwise in respect of this Lucky Draw.
In the event of any conflict or inconsistency between the English version and the Chinese version of these Terms and Conditions, the English version shall prevail.
These Terms and Conditions shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the HKSAR.
These Terms and Conditions constitute an agreement between HKITP and each of the Participants (or the parent or legal guardian of Participants aged below 18). A person who is not a party to this agreement shall not have any rights under the Contracts (Rights of Third Parties) Ordinance (Chapter 623 of the Laws of Hong Kong) to enforce any term of this agreement.
