2. The Creation of Disneyland The Creation

Walt was someone who was always
looking ahead and to the next challenge.
After animated movies and live action,
he turned his attentions to another
burgeoning passion he had.
Walt had two daughters and Saturday
was ‘Daddy’s Day’. He would try to take
them to fun and interesting places. On
one such Saturday, Walt sat on a bench
at a local park, eating peanuts, watching
his girls ride on a carousel.
As he sat there, he felt there should be
somewhere where the parents and children
could have fun together.
The seeds of a wondrous new idea had been planted in Walt’s mind. He set about
creating a magical place where the young and the young at heart could enjoy a
magical day, together.
