DISNEY’S STEM EXPLORATION (P.3 TO P.6)

Discover the wonderful science at work in every attraction at Hong Kong Disneyland! This course allows
students to develop their interest in STEM topics by exploring science theories and conducting simple
experiments. The activities will inspire creativity, strengthen problem-solving skills and motivate students to
develop innovative thinking for STEM learning.

Learning Objectives
Discover the STEM elements in mechanics, ratio and vision
Explore different types of bridges and the structures
Experiment testing factors affecting the load carrying capacity of paper bridges
Uncover golden ratio around us through activity and ride experience of “Ant-Man and The Wasp: Nano Battle!”*
Through activity and experience of “Mad Hatter Tea Cups”* to understand centripetal and centrifugal forces
Introduce vision through experience at “The Fairy Tale Forest”*
Introduce optical Illusion and understand the application of optical illusion in life

Assembly Location Hong Kong Disneyland Main Entrance

Student Capacity/ Group 15 – 18 students/ group
Assembly Time Morning session: 10 a.m.
