GLOBAL PERSPECTIVES: AN ADVENTURE
IN OUR SOCIETY (S.2 TO S.6)

Using real-life examples at Hong Kong Disneyland, this program empowers students with essential
knowledge through the “issue-enquiry” approach, as part of students’ values education, the activity
deepens their understanding of the world and instills a multicultural global perspective, paving the way
for them to become integral parts of the global community. We employ multiple-perspective thinking
skills, tools and techniques that broaden their perspectives on the unique challenges and opportunities
that face today’s global citizens. Students work in teams and are encouraged to approach international
issues from different angles to devise solutions.

Learning Objectives
Learn about the concept of "Globalization."
Through activity and ride experience of "Big Grizzly Mountain Runaway Mine Cars” to develop
multiple-perspective thinking and creative thinking skills.
Experience "Mystic Manor"* to learn about the meaning of "culture" and understand "cultural
diversity" through observation, analysis and discussion
Interactive games and discussion about empathy and sympathy
Get to know the importance of multiple-perspective thinking through discussion
Understand the concept of global cultural integration through the ride experience of "it's a small
world"*

Each student will receive a Learning Passport after the program.

Assembly Time Morning session: 10 a.m.
