(S.3 TO S.6 & POST-SECONDARY)

While students are engaged in the process of discovering elements that contribute to success as a
Disney Cast Member, they learn the value of self-discipline and self-motivation. Students travel the path
from school to work exploring personal preparation for career interest, the unique Disney corporate
cultures, the activity broadens their understanding of the professional world as well as the expansion of
individual skill sets to create a variety of career opportunities and support their life-planning.

Learning Objectives

Discuss the importance of creating a positive first impression
Visit “Team Disney Building” to discuss the value of understanding a corporate culture
Explore Disney Culture: hiring process, heritage, traditions and working environment
Introduce the structural training process of the Disney organization to recognize its value and role
playing in achieving business objectives
Disney Leader’s Sharing about the importance of demonstrating proper working attitude
Observe the results of structured training through on-location cast member performance by
experiencing “Jungle River Cruise”*
Through activity and ride experience of “Hyperspace Mountain“* to discover how skills can be
transferred from one job to another, allowing them to make the most out of whatever opportunities
come their way
