Rider Switch

Rider Switch allows an adult to wait with children while another adult experiences the attraction. Then, the adults can switch—without having to wait in line a second time.

Don’t Wait in Line a Second Time

If somebody in your party won’t be boarding an attraction—you don’t have to miss out with the Rider Switch option.

How it Works:

Request a Rider Switch arrangement at an attraction: One adult waits with the non-rider(s) in a designated area while the rest of the party experiences the attraction. Without getting in line again—the waiting adult can then board the attraction as soon as another adult in the party returns to supervise the non-rider(s).

Most attractions including the following offer the Rider Switch option to Guests:

To Use Rider Switch

Ask a Cast Member if Rider Switch is offered at the attraction you want to experience.
If Rider Switch is offered: Let a Cast Member know that you would like a Rider Switch arrangement. Enter the line with your entire party. An adult will be designated to wait with the Guest(s) that does/do not wish to experience the attraction in an appointed “Rider Switch” area. The remainder of the party will experience the attraction.
When the remainder of the party returns to the “Rider Switch” area, the Guest who waited with the person or persons are unable to experience the attraction will be allowed to experience the attraction. The Guest may bring one member from the remainder group to experience the attraction.
