Sometimes, the most impactful learning happens outside the classroom. That was
certainly the case when I had the privilege of leading 28 students through the
Disney Youth Education Series and the Disney Executive Presentation. It was our
first time participating, and what began as a new experience quickly became a
transformative journey for all of us.
One of the most memorable moments came during the Executive Presentation by Mr.
Colin Chang, Vice President of Human Resources. His session was refreshingly candid
and full of practical insights—not just polished corporate messaging, but real advice on how global
organizations operate and hire. Watching my students lean in, take notes, and ask thoughtful
questions, I could see them connecting the dots between classroom learning and real-world
application. Mr. Chang’s ability to link Disney’s people strategies to global hiring practices and
organizational culture gave our students a rare and valuable perspective—one that textbooks simply
can’t offer.
The Environmental Expedition added another layer of depth. It showcased how Disney integrates
sustainability into its business excellence. From behind-the-scenes tours to interactive learning
moments, my students saw firsthand how environmental responsibility is woven into the company’s
operations. What I believe this program truly offers students is perspective. It helps them see beyond
the classroom and into the real world—how values like leadership, innovation, and sustainability play
out in global organizations. It builds confidence, curiosity, and a sense of purpose. It’s the kind of
experience that can shape not just careers, but character.

Heartfelt thanks to the wonderful arrangements from the Disney Youth Team, the
experience of our team members at the Disney Youth Program in January 2025 was
memorable and filled with joy and inspiration!
Hong Kong Disneyland truly embodies the spirit of magic and happiness. From
insightful seminars and engaging team-building activities that foster collaboration
and strengthen connections, to thought-provoking discussions on guest experiences,
operational efficiency, and employee morale; every moment was designed to inspire and innovate.
Exploring the park together provided invaluable insights into the best practices and customer-focused
strategies, sparking creativity and deepening our commitment to excellence. It is truly a wonderful place
where dreams come true and inspiration thrives!
Furthermore, taking this opportunity to extend our warmest congratulations to Hong Kong Disneyland on
reaching the remarkable milestone of its 20th Anniversary. This achievement stands as a true testament to
the hard work, dedication and passion of the Disney team.
Looking ahead, we are excited to continue nurturing the collaborations with Disney we have built. Thank
you once again for your steadfast support and for the positive impact you have made on our team. It is
genuinely appreciated.
