Service Dogs

Trained service dogs are welcome in most locations throughout the Hong Kong Disneyland Resort.


Overview of Guidelines

Service dogs means a guide dog or a dog that is trained to do work or perform tasks for, and to assist, a person with a disability. Service dogs must remain on a leash or in a harness and under the control of the owner at all times.

Due to the nature of some attractions, service dogs may not be permitted to ride certain attractions. At these locations, please ask a Cast Member about available options, including Rider Switch with a member of your party or a portable kennel.

Additionally, please note that Cast Members are not authorized to handle service dogs.

Restricted Attractions

Due to the nature of these experiences, service dogs are not permitted on:

Relief Areas

Service dogs are welcome to use designated backstage area for relief as long as the owner picks up after the dog and leaves the area clean. Also, for your convenience, we offer backstage designated “break” areas. Please ask a Cast Member for directions to these locations.

Visiting Resort Hotels

Guests can also be accompanied by their service dogs in all common areas of the Hong Kong Disneyland Hotel, Disney’s Hollywood Hotel and Disney Explorers Lodge except:

  • Swimming pools
  • Hot tubs
  • Steam rooms
  • Sauna rooms

Please check with the hotel Front Desk to enquire about the designated areas for service dogs.
